Mei Backof
Audrey Mei-Lin Backof, also known as Mei, is an English and Creative Writing student at Santa Clara University. Having always been fascinated by the woven worlds of books and other literature, Mei is grateful for the chance to dip her toe in those waters at Readeezy — and to do it for a good cause. Mei’s other creative writing has been published in university literary journals, and she was awarded the first-place Tamara Verga prize by the Academy of American Poets for her poem, “Flower Mother, Fever Daughter.”
