Dr. Maria Finaro Cleary is President and CEO of Readeezy LLC, and the parent of a learning disabled young adult. She is an experienced school superintendent, principal and teacher and has taught on the elementary through post-graduate levels.
Dr. Cleary’s EdTech entrepreneurship also includes The Learning Project, where she produced “Enter McNine,” a ground-breaking sitcom teaching writing skills to middle school students. She founded Angelvision, Inc., creating a TV platform for character education programming.
In addition, she wrote and produced award-winning programs for WNBC-TV, Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Cablevision of Connecticut, the Archdiocese of NY and a variety of Fortune 500 companies, receiving numerous grants in support of educational television efforts.
Readeezy is her passion project, designed to provide the joy of reading to one of our country’s most underserved audiences.
